Well. I can say this about the Winter Olympics, they saved the best for last. Even though I was rooting for USA, the game was exciting and congratulate the victors. Good to see a close game and have the home team fight for a win.

I'm proud of them.

I missed the 10 first minutes of the game... we were late coming back from swimming pool with the kids. When we arrived home the power failed. So finally I missed the 2 first periods.

I was ready to go to a bar for the third period when the power came back. I finally saw the third period & overtime.

From what I saw, the American team played very well. Their defense was way better than the Russians. Miller is excellent. But I think the best team won. It was a great show!!

Now I'll see what I missed, this game is on TV again at 11PM.

BTW, the hockey team win was Canada's 14th gold medal, a new Winter Olympics record. CONGRATS!!!

Well done team Canada! I got to see the tie but missed the extra period. Got the news when I was driving home.

By the way team Canada did very well over all. Led all the nations in gold medals. It's fitting that the host nation did so well AND won the gold, in a nail biter finish, for the sport they're nuts for.
