Quite a while ago (might be measured in years?) someone posted a thread about color blindness tests. They had a link that went to a website that had a test you could do that not only identified color blindness but also narrowed down to which parts of the spectrum the user may have issues with.

If memory serves the test had gradient bars where you had to match a sample color to the location on the gradient bar?

Anyone remember this test?

We wanted to have the color blind people here at work take that specific test.

I can't find that friggin' thread! I've searched the forum for "color blind" and "test color blind" and couldn't find it.

I posted a test of spacial ability ("point to the center of this circle", etc.).

That color test was tough: even though I got it all right, many of the arrays of little squares had no really good descriptions. (Just like high school multiple choice exams, where there are no correct answers or more than one!)

That's pretty cool.
I got everything right, but there was one with a 2 in it that was REALLY hard for me to see.

I'll have to check out the one pointed out by Tes/Wes (actual URL of the test is http://www.colormunki.com/game/huetest_kiosk).

That one looks very familiar and might indeed be it. Guess I'll have to complete it to be sure. Cool

Thanks evahbadah! Very Happy

I got a 45... I never really thought I was "color blind" though.

My eyesight is pretty bad however. Hmmm
