Why don't we make use of the countless linkable music online to create our ongoing PSC radio station (or TV - if you want to link YOU TUBE video)

Post 15 minutes (there about) (or say post THREE links) to music that creates a good mood.

And that mood could be anything from LOVE, to GONE TOTALLY CRAZY.

I will open the station with these three songs. I hope you love listening to it.

I dedicate these songs to my friends here on PSC.

Elvis Costello - "This house is empty now"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xID7AxShew0

Venice - "Baby's Calling Me"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fix96-_Ork

Jean "Toots" Thielemans - "Bluesette"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euQD7_bBU84

Enjoy, and have a great weeken.

Feel free to add your 15 minutes of Radio in this forum

does anyone remember theplague? He's in a French progressive rock band called Nil. I have a copy of their CD. I tried to find a YouTube video from this, but couldn't. So this technically doesn't count, but bear with me, there's a reference here.
http://www.amazon.com/Nil-Novo-Sub-Sole-NIL/dp/B000BGQVEM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1276913630&sr=1-1

It's an awesome CD!!! He did most, if not all of the art for it.

The reference is that theplague, a.k.a. Samuel, introduced me to the modern composer, Arvo Part. I ADORE his music (thank you again, Samuel!!!!). One of my favorite pieces actually appeared in the movie "There Will be Blood" with Daniel Day Lewis. YouTube clip #1 from Square:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vO92REraUo

YouTube Clip #2, is my absolute favorite song currently, it's from Lady GaGa. I really believe she's a musical genius and not afraid to explore and flaunt what her momma gave her. The song is called "Teeth". I have some very special reasons for loving this song, not the least of which is it's a BITCHIN' tune!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk5vRoc0_nk

YouTube Clip #3, is from one of my FAVORITE bands, Puddle Of Mudd. If you've EVER been pissed off and needed to drive cranking the tunes, I HIGHLY recommend their music. Trust me on this one. And since I'm certifiably bi-polar, I am particularly fond of this song!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDdeOncpD5E

I don't know if that gets me to 15 mins, but it's my current top 3. Much thanks to annajon for starting this thread!!!!!

Thank you very much Square for the Lovely Lady Gaga and Puddle of Mud and the totally new for me music by Arvo Part - I love classical music, so this is a welcome edition.

I should add, that if there are more places on the Internet that allow you to link a music video - they will also be very welcome to use. It is just that I am not familiar with others (think MySpace etc. some bands have their page there as well)

Not bad for the first day - a good 45 minutes (45 very long minutes but who is counting when it is good music Laughing )

Looking forward to the next hour.

Well, this is more than one mood, but it is some of my favorite music.

First, I guess this was a natural pick,
CS&N doing their Southern Cross
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kopNfhvCkHU

Then a cover of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite songstress,
Allison covered by Linda Rondstat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MNgUhjC7p0

Next, what I consider to be the ultimate version of another of my ultimate favs:
Natalie Cole and Reba McIntyre doing Since I fell for You
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTH83-TR8ys

And finally, one of the three greatest rock & roll songs of all time,
MEATLOAF'S phenomenal Paradise by the Dashboard Lights
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK-FRac7m58

I'll go with French songs. Not my favorites but good songs. I figure English people are rarely or never listen French songs. Whatever if you don't understand, it doesn't matter... feel the mood! Cool

This video is 2 songs in one. The original song from Jean-Pierre Ferland from 1970 (this song is from the album Jaune... considered as a masterpiece), and the new version by Charlotte Gainsbourg (daughter of the great Serge Gainsbourg) and Beck...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AykxU-V9kSI

Another Gainbourg/Beck song (not French this time) from the same album... her latest album...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrWN0-MuK38

And an old song (1990) from Jean Leloup, one of my favorite French-Québecois singer...

My three choices...

Biffy Clyro - Mountains (just because I like it & it reminds me of a great friend)....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tm5PFIRdPfQ

Steve Earle - Galway Girl (yes, I admit it, I can be a softie & I love this song)....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnSNCll82qg

From Autumn To Ashes - Autumns Monologue/The fiction we live (ok, technically 2 songs but they need to be heard together... reminds me of a US marine who is always on my mind)....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=In8DT6vX8cE&feature=related

There, so I admitted it, and yes Jake... you were correct all this time (incase he reads it) Laughing

I've got tons of favourite songs so I guess I could add some more depending on moods over the next few weeks if that'd allowed?

Ok.... I must go listen & cry! Laughing

@ MamaHet - Lets say we can indulge ourselves in creating a little radio ones a week? That way we will have 52 chances in a year.

Nice work. We are getting a real great mix here.
