it looks like a carved Arial to me, but I was wondering if there's any font that at least looks like it. A friend of mine asked me that, but I suck at fonts and I know Voks is a font freak, so maybe he could help me on this one.

Step No.1 is usually whatthefont.com, first clean up the source to get a decent contrasting image. In this case - no hits at WTF

Step No.2 - dafont.com, a large depository of free fonts. Look at the font classifications - the mystery font seems to fall into the "eroded" or "distorted" categories. Again - no hits for this particular font

Step No.3 - google, google, google. This font looks like it's based on Helvetica Black Condensed or Impact.
I googled eroded impact font
The 3rd result from the top: 25 Distorted and Bold Eroded Fonts for Filthy Designs
#4 on the list looked like the perfect match.
