I think it's a shame this photo is on the internet. Whatever she did, she had a beautiful voice, enjoyed by a lot of people.
I know she was weak, but still... Blame it on the drugs dealers! They know how to abuse people when they are vulnerable. You must have strong 'legs' to carry so much fame.

Amen. I think, over the last week or so, we are getting a REAL GOOD UNDERSTANDING of how low the "free press" and "newspaper" organizations will go to take another $1.25 out of our pockets.
Amy had a True Gift (and please excuse the capital letters there, folks, but I feel people like Amy deserve them ) and, as usual with that Gift comes The Curse. Some battle and win against that Curse, others (as Paola said above) are too weak to beat it.
It is weird, but the first time I HEARD Amy sing I thought "wow, what a lot of soul in that girl!". Then I SAW a photo of her and I kinda felt right away that she wouldn't be around for long - the Curse was strong in this one. R.I.P.

You can't blame it on the drug dealers, that would be like blaming the grocery store for fat people, we all have to take responsibility for our actions, I had read that she was talking about wanting to have a baby, now that is off the scale for a crime IMO, what is sad is that she should have had better friends and family to keep her feet on the ground.

I don't think the man of the grocery store will stalking me night and day with his stuff.
It's true what you said about her family and (mostly so called) friends. I think her family did so! But when you are lost so far... you don't/can't listen anymore. When you start with the drugs you feel so good and strong...(they say). They think 'Just once more can't hurt me.' Till the last time.

Its just very sad.
