A friend of mine showed me a group named HGigh on Youtube the other day.
He said to me: 'Watch this, and explain me why you keep looking at it'.
So I did, I watched the video and noticed that these guys have over 1.5 million hits on this clip.
It turned out that they have become very popular in Germany and got a full schedual this summer on Goa-parties.
They even made it to national television and reporters are standing in line to interview the group.
The music is TERRIBLE bad. Their clips: WORSE.
And yet.... Well, watch yourself and if you can explain their succes, pls share

OK, I don't know what is considered entertainment in Germany and Belgium but I lasted a full minute before I had to kill it. I think I spent more time trying to hit keys typing this in my drunken state than I did watching the video. I'm not one of them people that wants his time back spent on whatever because everything is an experience. Thank you for this one.

I can only second guess at the motivation, .... but this ?music? probably really pisses off parents of the teens that follow it. Simply put, its not what the fans parents would ever be caught listening to or follow.

My guess: some people like to see how messed up things can be?

It's probably cool if the guys involved know people like it in an ironic kind of way. It sort of gets a bit messy when non-talented people try to make music(or videos) and take themselves seriously.

there about 80 million people in germany, 10% takes antidepressants, that makes about 8 mil, so 1.5 mil viewers isnt that much
