"My old boss summed it up rather nicely in what he called 'The Big Idea'

It goes like this:-

It takes a big idea to attract the attention of consumers and get them to buy your product. Unless your advertising contains a big idea, it will pass like a ship in the night. I doubt if more than one campaign in a hundred contains a big idea.
David Ogilvy

Wink Just replace the word 'Advertising' to 'Chopping' and you'll get the big idea! Learn from the past winners as to why it won and you won't go far wrong.

I'm still new, but I've came up with my own voting tech. Yes I click on the colorful oh and ah images first. But before I vote, run thru my mental check list.

1. Could I have done it and how long would it have taken
2. Would I have ever thought of the idea, or was it a real mind blower?
3. Are they beating me in votes? j/k lol, its the internet, I don't care if I win or lose, I want to get better.

I'll vote for a awful chop is the idea was good. You can always teach some one photoshop, but you can't teach imagination.

If I see something like rey reys and first words out of my mouth is wtf, how did he do that? I give 2 votes Razz
