We did this 2 years ago and we do it again!
Long story short: we're looking for Santas!

X-mas contest
Next week it will be that time of the year we all enjoy. And we all know it ain’t easy for a lot of us. One way or another the crisis still hits us. This request goes out to the people where the financial problems are not that big, we want to ask if you are able to donate a 3-months advantage prize for the people that probably can’t afford it. Just as a Christmas gift for our PSC friends. Let us know in this thread, or send me an pm if you want to donate anonymous! On December 23 there will be an anonymous prize contest and we ask you to make a Christmas card without a source photo. Especially for the non-advantaged members with the highest scores there will be the 3 months advantage presents. The amount of prizes will depend on the number of gifts we receive.

Is there a prize for the complete contest?
Yes there is:
1 year advantage, thanks to PSC
And to start with and only for the non-advantage participants:
6 x 3 months advantage, thanks to (non) anonymous donations. Lol.

Are there rules?
Off course, we love rules!
• Make a great Christmas themed card the way you want and that look like a Christmas card you love to receive!
• Send in just one (1) image!
• When you use a lot of an existing Xmas card/image you should show the url without showing your name!
• Non-advantage people can start at the same time to work on it for this contest (cause there is no source photo).
• Only non-advantage people can win a 3 months advantage prize.
• Everyone can donate 3 months advantage as a prize for our fellow choppers. You can do your payment the normal way, by specifying ‘Santa Contest donation’: http://photoshopcontest.com/advantage/purchase/index.html Tell us on this thread if you did so, or send me a pm if you want to stay anonymous.

I like the idea of the Christmas card, I think I will join the party

PS: 2 things about the "no-source" contest

1) It's harder to judge, becasue there are already a lot of nice Xmas images out there and it's hard to tell which parts are chopped or just copied.

2) December 23 the voting starts, I think lots of people might be celebrating the holidays already. (which make it harder to vote)
