Hello All,

Since yesterday, everytime I visit Photoshopcontest.com my antivirus software keeps detecting the following virus: Exploit:JS/Blacole.CH.

It only detects it when visiting this site. I am not sure if it has something to do with a java script on the site or what.

Would anyone else know about this.

Thanks,
Jim

The same thing is happening to me. My Antivirus is Avast. This only seemed to happen on the computer that uses Avast. This morning the home page disappeared. I just logged on with my iPad and the home page is there. Weird!

However, just to be safe, lets all stay away from PSC for a couple of years Rolling Eyes
I even don't use antivirus anymore. My computer is more than ready to die, there is nothing to hide on it, or to steal from it.And actually it works better without constant updates and useless alerts for harmless things ...so I just run latest combofix every few weeks. (chemotherapy) Cool

Yes, antivirus will remove it, but as long as the script is on PSC's servers, you will keep getting the pop up message from AVG.

Basically, PSC has been hacked, and all users who visit the site are in risk of downloading this virus and compromising their security and computers.

PSC needs to secure their FTP settings on their servers.

You might be safe if you use a MAC, but anyone using a PC will be taking a risk unless they have a good antivirus program.

Seriously, this is not a joke, and all members of this site need be safe.

Some discussions on the Interwebs treat similar alerts as false positives due to incorrect virus definitions. Try updating your AV software and check if the alert will pop up again.

I have alerted Grefix via Facebook, he is the only one with access behind the scenes.
