What's with the layerfile being to sophisticated for my old Adobe programme?

It keeps discarding unreadable layers, and when I go around that all I get is a complete image.

Fantastic. The rsa logo on the big circular button looks a little warped inward on the sides of the red element

Impressive, I enjoyed starting at the top and turning all the layers off until I got to the bottom.

Just finished another realism render. Let me know what you all think...I'm trying to find a way to post the PSD for you all to download...but it is quite large.

My 2¢

The e-cig is sharper than the background. Needs grain to match. (a good plugin to use is GrainSurgery/Realgrain)

Note the lens blur near the edges of the image, the e-cig should follow suit.

The right hand side end needs some perspective/curvature.

The screw as drawn is not really a screw, just rings, you will not be able to twist it into the other piece.

The LOGIC logo needs to follow the curve.

I don't understand the thing light stripes on the long piece.

The edge between the blue end and the black tube looks too generic, needs a little groove. The black curve should be an ellipse with the large diameter equal to the e-cig width, currently looks like a part of a large circle.

Stock photos of the same model show the 'filter' part to be slightly larger diameter and the ring where the two pieces connect is shinier.

Exactly the feedback that makes this place awesome.
I'll get right on it.

Nicely Done! if I was looking at an ad I would of thought it was real. Now that some things have been mentioned or critiqued, I now see and agree that you could easly correct them to make it even more awesome!

Great Work!

Great work! The thing i love the most when making 3D in 2D(Ps) is when client says "looks great, can you please rotate to the left a bit". Then if transform/perspective doesn't helps-go through all layers again. Anyhow, this is photo-realistic.I went through all layers just like Shane. If you didn't use any reference source-you just rule! Bow
Edit:
Then again, even if you used any source for example-you rule also Laughing
