First of all, you come off as patronizing in that post.
It's rude, don't do it.
You read my post, you you know I already know about the advantage membership.
If you didn't pick that up from my post, then you have no place to be patronizing.

Sorry, I don't have the disposable income to throw away on a random small website that, at best, will maybe some day pay me $50, and from what I can tell by older forum replies, only if the management of the site actually gets around to it and doesn't forget about you.
Who wants to pay for a site where, according to veteran member posts, the management doesn't seem to care about the site?
.

Am glad that you are feeling welcome Very Happy

all what i want to say is look to your way in talking with Vok's and about PSC Page . and you want me to welcome you ?
Welcome to PSC dude .

You just have to chop 2 more images and then you have the opportunity to decide yourself what image that deserves to win a contest.

I agree with TheShaman: STFUAC Laughing

...and yeah, welcome to PSC.com

Don't give up on the site just because you are winning in your first few entries......it took me 42 enries before I ever won a contest. It takes a little while to figure out what ideas bring in more votes.

Good Luck

Excuse me?
I didn't start a fight with anyone.
It's called conversation with back and forth ideas.

To think that you decide that new users are somehow beneath others so much to the point that they shouldn't disagree with a concept is disgusting.
Good work on making people feel welcome and valued as a new member.

You have been welcomed here in a thread by quite a few members. You also mentioned that you read around the forum. But it's obvious that you didn't see the three forum threads about the team challenge 2013. This contest started before you joined. Advantage and non-advantage members saw the source for this particular day 4 only last Saturday, so it wasn't " a month before".

Maybe your expectations of "winning a few" are somewhat premature. Give it time, post [you can post 2 per contest] and then you can distribute your votes to those you deem deserving. If you joined only to win, you'll stay frustrated. IMO.

I've read through this forum a bit and have seen the complaints about the dwindling numbers and not attracting new users.
From a newbie point of view, I can tell you why.
The system seems built around punishing people for being new.

However, I've seen some real junk get mid-high votes already, and it's discouraging to place even lower than stuff you know didn't have any decent work done to it.
The stuff that looks like stickers were put on a background, and they still get good amounts of votes.

The best thing to "learn" here seems to be that you have to pay to have a shot.
If that's the only lesson I'm going to learn, I'll find somewhere else to play.
Especially if they know how to run a contest.

What you label as "junk" might be seen as good work by others. Maybe cut back on the know-it-all attitude which is quite rude for a newbie.

I think the best thing you can learn here is how to compete fast.
This website used to be based off speed chopping.
Everyone got the source at 7am EST and you had 3 days to compete.
Everyone chopped as fast and as best as the could, and people voted along the way. That was, and basically still is, the contest.
There is a "speed chop day" every so often where this still takes place.

It wasn't, nor has it ever been about having three days to chop a photo and then everyone votes on what you could do in three days...

PSC runs their contests just fine.

BUT... If you need to take your ball and go home because you can't play by the rules of this website...
Maybe its for the best that you do go find somewhere else to play.

Shouldn't there be a picture of a llama in this thread by now? Is Anfa slacking?

Sure, some crap gets over voted. You should just focus on making better entries. At this point, I don't think your rank in the contests should be of that much concern, since I don't see anything in your portfolio that really deserves to win. I have seen high quality, late entries make the climb to the top many times.

Welcome and good chopping.
