I love pipe smoking. Yes it is unhealthy but at least you don't inhale that much. Give smart man a pipe and he will have something to help him think, give pipe to a fool and he will have something to stick in his mouth. It's a win win combination either way. But that is just snob talkin' . Lots of people get rid of cigarettes when they start with a pipe. Whole different story and way less addictive.
Not to mention that Britain hold some of the finest tobaccos and pipes. It's hard to resist.

Yes pipe smoking will only lead to mouth and throat cancer not as much chance of lung cancer! Keep puffing while you can! But years from now when he ask why did you let me do this to my self?

Can you please leave this thread and go to a non-smoking one? Wink

My old dad sadly succumbed to the evil weed. He was only 92. If only he had quit the habit he could have lived to a ripe old age.

Smoking is OK if it's moderate. That's why person should be at least 8 years old before switch from mild to regular tobacco brands.

Being an ex-smoker no sympathy here. I say smoke them if you have them. But don't cry the blues later when you are sick and getting no sympathy, or when they say no one told me I could die from doing this for years!

I don't think there is one smoker left in the world that was spared of general warnings, disgusting pictures and prohibition...No one told me - they just bombarded me.
So I understand the risks well. Now, do I still have the choice?
