can anyone tell me why I have limited file types listed when I attempt to save a graphic that I created? I want to save this graphic as a jpeg but only have about 5 file types. I have had this problem in the past and I forget what the solution was.... who wants to help an old friend?

thanks peeps!

Maybe you work with 32 bit files.
Convert it to 16 or 8

Which version are you using?

Make sure your document is 8 bit not 16 or 32.

Cheers

And that was exactly what the problem was, for whatever reason, when I dragged the file into photoshop it changes the setting to 32bit.... even if I finalized the file and then copied and pasted to a new file it would not allow me to change the "bits"... but once I exited out of PS all together and then started it back up I created a new "8bit" file and then copied the graphic that I was working on and pasted it to the new file and finalized it and I was able to save it as a jpeg.

Thanks again peeps, I know I could count on you guys!

Hope everyone is well!
