Had to open the Adobe Updater to remove the reminder icon from my menu bar (again).

I'm sitting on the original CS5 install (PS 12.0, for example) and I had updates across the board for all the components of CS5. Looking through a few I realized I still don't care to accommodate Facebook album uploading (never use), bugs in the Live service (never use), language locale expansions (never use), remote connections (never use), media encodings for Flash (never use), et cetera, et cetera. Having never experienced a bug, crash, or corruption, I'm content with the original equipment, I guess.

What's your experience/approach?

I'm using Adobe CC at the moment, it sometimes says it has updates etc. but I did not update yet.
With the previous versions, I also never updated...as long as the program works it's fine by me.

I updated my etch-a-sketch..now has automatic shake. I remember a time... not long ago - some people still had to shake an etch-a-sketch manually.

Updates require effort. Effort requires initiative. Initiative requires giving a fuck. That said, I never update.
