It's fascinating to be able to compare the photographs with the finished paintings. I don't recognize the artist's name. Whoever he was, he was good.

here is info on him. I see one reason why he doesn't seem familiar to most of us, he lived from 1914 thru 1980. in the heyday of the 40's thru 70's everyday people probably knew his work. but then Photoshop was born! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
