Taking the whole source pic and just applying a single "stylised" filter (like one of the Artistic ones) or a bevel.<br><br>Posting it.<br><br>Sitting back and expecting the votes to flood in.

lol gravy. Fair point. <br><br>As I think I said somewhere or other on here, cliches are not bad in themselves (not in my opinion anyway!), just be aware that an idea that is considered a cliche may not get as many votes as you would hope, and you may need to work that much harder to make it stand out.<br><br>Unless you decide "What the HECK!" and post a "tribute" to a cliche post just for fun, like <a href="http://www.photoshopcontest.com/viewpost?post_id=47296" target="_blank">THIS</a> one  (But as I warned earlier... note the votes! Or lack of them! Heh.)
