Photoshop Contest Forum Index - General Discussion - All prize contest entries should be on one page. - Reply to topic

All contest entries... especially prize contests should force all entried onto the same page. I for one get a bit discoraged when I know my entry will be forced onto the second page. Im sure everyone knows what I mean. Many great entries go unseen when on the second page.

This site is starving for more active members. Any discorgement should be eliminated. No matter how small.

In short... in the meantime... CHECK THE SECOND PAGE... YOU MAY BE MISSING SOMETHING YOU LIKE!!

HA HAH.

If someone is too lazy to click for the second page they probably won't even see past the first three or four entries anyhow and more than likely too lazy to click on the vote button either or even worse say how great your chop is then hit the comment button by mistake...or as a lapsus due to laziness Laughing

I think the issue is entering late honestly. Many people vote once then don't go back to look later. But for some reason I thought prize contests shuffled the order, maybe I'm thinking of something else.

Its very true, sometimes its first come first served kind of thing, early entries get the votes while later ones get ignored even if the entry is good enough.

It's a SAD fact Tilak, but the early bird gets the worm, that's why it's called "advantage plan" unfair as it may be, it's only advantageous for those that pay. And there are quite a few other Badly Conceived rules on this site.

Its funny, is there even too many contests with more than 1 page anymore?

I remember back in the day many people winning with late entries, think my best was winning after entering the day after the contest opened, and winning from page 3 or 4 or the contest.

This be the one that comes to mind:

Its sad to see so few images in each contests. Thats true. And you made a good chop with your spider, marcoballistic.

If you compare the quality of the chops in this contest/link you put in your topic, its close to the same as it is today. Thats good to see, at least....Wink The few chops that is in todays contest got the same quality. Usually it is so.

The bad thing is that the historical best choppers at psc.com are gone. Hopefully there are coming new good choppers. Wink
