I celebrated a dear friends 75th birthday today with a half a dozen other old timers that I went to school with 60 odd years ago, and the first topic of conversation was not Glasgow fecking football or Keir Starmer or the darts match on the telly...
It was the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Scotland is mourning for Charlie and his wife and children are in our prayers.
