I agree, it is frustrating, and I've done it a thousand times, literally. On my end I use the crop tool to 4x3 ratio and a macro to resize. Uploading them one by one is still a pain, I either open many tabs with the same upload page, or after the "Submit Successful" message go back one page to upload the next.
