Haha Nancers

It didn’t take long for me to figure out that it was a lot easier for me to learn and support both platforms rather than have a client or an agency worry about reformatting or saving project data to a certain OS. Just about every program I use is fully supported and virtually identical on both computers, Combustion, Avid, PS, Illustrator, After Effects and Dreamweaver. The “quality” BTW, is exactly the same, and they both function perfectly on my Windows Network. I use them both all the time, Last year I was able to directly attribute 4 house payments to the Mac, 2 to the PC. This year the PC has made 7 house payments, and the Mac 3. (Yes thanks to these glorious boxes of electronic crap, I’m 3 ahead this year.) So I guess I really don’t care as long as they keep working and help me earn some extra money. BTW, I built them both myself. Yes the Mac too, it was a beeyaaash getting parts but it works perfectly and I paid about 1/2 at the time.

Exactly which diatribe are you referring to, could you quote a few statements for me so I know what has set you off?
I suppose I should just sit by and let people badmouth Macs and say nothing in their behalf?

Yes, I guess this is just another example of trouble making Mac owners. (rolls eyes)

Robo, I am not sure. If you render the text layer would that not freeze the size of the characters?

We should use the processor names. I have an AMD AthlonXP 2400+ Thoroughbred(i686). And my server has an Intel Pentium 3 Coppermine(i686). I used to have Windows 98 on this computer, and then I needed a few gigabytes more space for temporary storage of raw DV from the video camera... I use XP so infrequently that Windows 98 is still an option on the boot menu.
