Here is sugestion for the mods.

On every forum there are crisis period from time to time with some tensions going around.
Maybe it could be good to open a forum under Pub PSC called 'Flame' or 'War room' or 'Battlefield or...'. I saw that on the forums many times.

All bad communication should go here. If someone wants to flame someone else, you can yell, swear, insult, be a complete jerk and eventualy get everything back to the face. Spit out your negative.

Other forums could stay clean for some constructive civilized non-personal-taking discusions, from which new members can learn something.

Just my opinion.

Do you have some thoughts on that suggestion?

I kinda like this idea, having an assigned place for tanting and raving might help leep it off posts and out of other places wher eits causing tention and stress amoung members.

I'VE HEARD OF SOME STUPID IDEAS BEFORE BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE!!

YOU ACTUALLY THINK THAT PEOPLE WILL CONTROL THEIR ANGST LONG ENOUGH TO FIND THE APPROPRIATE SPOT TO FLAME AND BURN AND RANT AND CHURN AND BASICALLY ACT LIKE STUPID LITTLE KIDS!??????

I THINK NOT!

JEEEEEEEZUS ON A POGO-STICK ALL THE WAY TO CHICAGO!

I CAN'T BELEIVE YOU'D EVEN WANT TO ENCOURAGE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR HERE. WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST BE CALM AND RELAXED LIKE I AM?

ARE THE REST OF YOU INSANE? HAVE YOU not had your MEDS?

I HOPE THAT I HAVE ENLIGHTENED YOU IN THE WAY OF APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR AROUND HERE. GIVING PEOPLE PERMISSION TO RANT WILL ONLY BE A THORN IN THE SIDE OF SOCIETY'S ARSE! A MOTE IN THE EYE OF CREATIVTY'S WALLY-DOODLE! A GRAIN OF SAND IN THE EVER-YAPPING MOUTH OF MENTALLY CHALLENGED ZEBRAS!

ETC. ETC.

(Now, if you'll excuse me I must go have a bath in rose petals. Thanks for your attention to this matter. Your complimentary stool sample is IN the MAIL! )

Wink

Hey ReinMan, sory I am realy insane, you are right.

I also didn't mention permission to rant. Who needs a permission for this. You? Me? Whoever?

Encouragement? Well, didn't say that too, but, ok... Would be nice if crap belongs somewhere too.

I am kind of weird guy, I even have built a toilet in my house so I do not shit all over the place. This would make my kids confused.

I hope you'll feel better after the bath Cool

Part of the reason I disliked the anonymous voting was that all the bitching and complaining was even worse as people could "hide" for three days. Yes, I know - but even though they knew everyone would know who they were eventually, it seemed to give the bullies and the Nasty People more courage to be extra A-holey because their name wouldn't be displayed for three days.

At least now, if you're gonna be a Turd-Head everyone knows it right away.

As far as voting influence due to knowing whos post it is - everyone mostly got around that by looking at the source code of the posted pics. This would be different now, as this site has taken control of the hosting of entries.

Dunno Rein- there'd still be ways to know who did what-
I've been around long enough to be able to identify
MANY MANY peoples works without their name having to be there.
As far as saying the negative comments were worse before the non-anon-
I don't agree with that either-
you guys have been on a rampage lately that is frankly quite embarassing to watch,
While I am at it- those who have been so vocal lately
have actually made it very uncompfortable for others-(ME)
to even use comments,or give any advice, support,
even to kid around with folks on their posts .
PS!!! all you guys pining for the old site-- every thing that is wrong
with the site the way it
is now- was wrong with the old site--
all those who vote friends now just e-mailed the friends before to tell them which was their image--there's no difference.
If we had a flame zone in forums-- noone would stick to it, no way. Rolling Eyes

Yep.. gonna drizzle, here, I think.

FWIW, one of my favorite places to hang out online is a flame forum. I laugh so hard, and feel so great after posting there. It's really therapeutic. But I've hung out on other flame boards that were just miserable, like packs of weasels attacking others, and posting scat and porn images, and so on.

So, if a flame forum is well-run, with moderators continually taking people's temperatures and making sure everybody is laughing and having fun, then they can be a hoot. But if you try to use a flame forum to sort out actual issues and feelings, they're not constructive and can only serve to make things worse.

Er, plus, flame forums usually contain a lot of work-unsafe posts, and they attract flame-only participants, which I don't think JMH had in mind.

Now, to the more important topic: How did Reinman get our mailing addresses? Raising Brow
