jmh, anonymous doesn´t help, indeed... but you see, having a value for the vote would be a great improvement... for instance, let´s say there are 2 killing posts, ok? they are almost tied... you like both of them, but prefers one of them better... for example, the server contest... I liked both btvs and anfa´s post... but i liked the phoenix better... I could give anfa´s phoenix 10, and btvs´s cow 8... I would vote for both I liked, but would give a slight advantage to my favorite... now, there´s a very good idea posted, with a terrible chop... I want to vote for it, but I don´t want it to have the same recognition as a great idea with a great chop... I could give it a 4... the points could be summed, and each 10 points could count as a nowaday´s vote... just an idea... even though i know it would be a pain in the ass to program that... but it would be very nice...

I agree, but to switch this site over to a new system would be very difficult at this point. Maybe psc should spawn off a new type of site, hmmmm.

give all my votes to the ones who has n't any because it will not affect me

reasons like those make the distance expands between the leaders and the ones with no votes

wich does affect the majority of entries-the ones in between- wich deserve more votes[/size][/b]

I cannot re-iterate enough that this site is not intended to be a strict competition site. It is to be a learning envronment and community first, and competition second. We have been through a few different voting systems and this one has been the most productive for the majority of the users of this site.
