Yeah I know Rein but damn, that monkey gets more attention than me, and we see astorids all day around here...or is that hemroids...always get them two mixed up...but the main point is that animation good...Ms_nichole Hot...chopper chopper chopper...

even I have done a gif or two. I think it's a marvelous way to expand your knowledge of Photoshop and ImageReady, and it gives you a new appreciation and understanding for layers .

Just as with a still image, a gif, simple but well done and based on a fantastic idea will usually hold its own amongst the competition. I've seen a mediocre-chopped still jpeg based on a brilliant concept do very well in many competitions.....sometimes the idea behind a submission counts as much as the execution. I see nothing wrong with that.

I'd also like to add that the gif I'm most pleased with was of the source of a simple fishing net, that I turned into a game of tic-tac-toe. I am exceptionally proud of thinking 'outside the box' for that contest. Very Happy
