I thought this problem just started , but I've had it for awhile,
just aint been surfin' through old PSD files much--
anyway-
1. Download
http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files.php/dllfiles/P/psicon.dll/download.html
2. Place the DLL in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Shell\
3. Thumbnail previews of PSD files are now back
Instant FIX!! Works perfect Smile

Lucky You moose Boy!!!
I spent a great amount of time
investigating the issue (ten minutes),

And the "Older" versions of CS had the DLL
taken out--WHY? I dunno-
I also suppose that IF there are people around here using CS on
a PEECEE , then some of them may be facing the same fate.
Although it would appear most folks are using PS 3.1 or older, or Paintshop PRO,
It is hopeful that the few who DO have CS would not have
to suffer this horrid misdeed on behalf of Adobe, any longer!
I just know it was some PEECEE hating creep at Adobe that deleted
the Psicon.DLL and was later caught by our heroic
PEECEE loving employee at Adobe. Who was very mature in
handling the situation, and has
put an end to this foolish prejudice at Adobe,Forever!
Wherever you are, "Our Hero", We Thank YOU!!!!!!!
(I apologize for calling You 'Moose-Boy" IF it offends.
It was just goofing, really Smile )

I spent the first 21 years of my life growing up 15 miles from Niagara Falls, Canada.

In high school I sold film to irrate American Tourists who couldn't believe that their dollar was LESS than ours (back in '78 I think...) at the souvenier shop that sits at the edge of The Falls.

It is a beautiful area fer sher. And Canadian women (mostly all imports) are varied and consistantly FINE! (did you read that, my dear fiance? Smile )

When I was a young fella--
just walkin' around the mall somewhere around Niagara--
I could spend WHOLE days just enjoying the 'view'.
Smile
Oh man--- Marineland in February-- STINKING COLD!! And did you ever
ride that gondola over the whirlpool when it was below zero?
We rode it when it was twenty degrees under and windy AND
the MIST was blowing all the way up
there--T-O-R-T-U-R-E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's not forget 'breakfast with coffee' ONE DOLLAR and
winter hotel room w/ spa "fourteen Dolla!"
Yeah that always rocked Smile
