.

Check out the sidewalk drawings of Julian Beever (scroll to the "3D Illusion" section)

If you haven't seen his work before it's definitely worth a look.

So good it almost seems fake.

Yeah... its really cool to see the alternate angle, to get a feel for how you have to actually set them up to work at the one angle...

They must look retarded from other angles (the illusion ones), but when you see it at the correct angle it blows your mind..

Neet stuff - although they've misspelled BEAVER! Razz (I should talk about speling isues!)

We had a dude up here in Vancouver area that was doing some of that stuff last summer - it is freaking cool. When you approach it from the wrong way you think WTF is this shite and why are all those people on the other side looking at it like its amazing?

THEN you walk past it and look back and BAM you see it from that correct angle and next thing you know you're buying a $34 T-shirt off the dude! Smile

I hope he's around this summer - if the rain stays away long enough to let him do his thang!

Unbelievable!!!! I saw artists like that before, but the Coke bottle...WOW. I really can't tell that it isn't real. Worse, I tried to picture it flat and it just doesn't work.

Thanks Bad man Wink

Very nice stuff. A pity a fall of rain will destroy them.

Maybe he should be hired to spray paint them in public areas? Would be better than a lot of other "official" grafitti and murals that get commissioned, IMO.
