Here we go. It starts NOW and you and your team have until September 2nd, Friday Night at 11:59pm PSC time to submit as

many as you can or all of the items to billtvshow at pscshiv@gmail.com

The Items

Item #1: We're Full Of It

The judges are very full of themselves. Go through the PSC daily contest entries of all 4 judges. Pick what you consider to be the top single entry (not necessarily the most voted) for each individual judge (4 total) and tell why you picked them. Then using all 4 images that you picked, photoshop them together into one big humorous pic. Points for good and/or clever selections, humorous commentary about the pics you chose, and being funny and/or innovative in chopping the 4 pics together. (YOU CAN USE OUTSIDE SOURCES IN CHOPPING THE 4 ENTRIES TOGETHER.)

Judges: 20 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Item #2: The Guest Judge

Prior to the week of the scavenger hunt, we have been holding tryouts for a guest judge. The guest judge is: Square
The following folder contains pictures of the guest judge that you may use to complete this task: http://www.billtvshow.com/shiv/square/
Beg this guest judge for points as best you can or in other words “vote whore” her. This can be through im's, pm's, building a tribute website to them, etc. Your minimum requirement is that at least one photomanipulated image of the judge should be used in your efforts. All of your efforts (conversations, forum posts, images, etc) will need to be documented and presented to the official judges, although the guest judge will only know how to judge you based upon the contact your group made with the guest judge. She will not see what you submit to us. The guest judge will assign half of the points in the judging of the task.

Judges: 10 points max (each)
Guest judge: 40 points max

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Item #3: Mythological Choppers

The Gryphon has the head of an eagle and the body of a lion and a centaur is half man and half horse. Your task is to create one of these creatures, but the catch is you must use the face of at least one member of PSC (not from your team and not the guest judge). You may use as many different animal parts as you want, but make sure to list all of the animals used. Also, you must name your creation, for example the Reinmanotaur. If you do not have a picture of a PSC member, you may have to ask/look around for one. Points will be awarded for the quality of the chop, the choice of animal parts used, humour etc.

Judges: 20 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Task Idea #4: SHIVer Me Timbers

Arrrr. It's time for ye scavenging dogs to get into pirate mode says I.
Your task is to form a band of pirates composed of your team members and go attack a message board on the internet. The message board must be related to a nautical theme, such as boats, yachting, etc... You may want to use pictures to support your attack, such as cannons and swords and such. You can be as creative as you want with this. When you are done, you need to present us with screenshots of any threads/parts of the message board that you have attacked. You will get points for creativity, effort, and humor. Obviously, the more of your team members participating, the better.

Judges: 20 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Item #5: We Want To Chop

On Tuesday, August 30, all four chop masters of Team Buceta will be entering the daily contest. You must designate one person on your team who you consider to be your best chopper or best competitior to be your team's official entrant into the contest. You must email pscshiv@gmail.com to designate your official team member before the start of the contest on Tuesday August 30 at 8:00am. In this contest, you do not have to meet any special criteria, simply do your best as you always do. The judges will award points based upon secret criteria that we have predetermined. This following advice is very crucial and critical to your success in this task: All members of your team should vote in this contest and should vote normally as you would on any other contest. If you are currently unable to vote, exceptions will be made. The exact scoring criteria that we used will be revealed when the results of the scavenger hunt are posted.

Judges: Preset Scoring

Grand Total Possible Points: ?

Item #6: Second Childhood

Think back to your childhood days, when kids drew pictures to impress their teachers. This is now your task. You must draw a picture as if you are a young child in primary/elementary school. The picture can be of any subject, but the focus is to impress your teacher with your very rudimentary drawing skills. It should include some humor, but the levels of creativity are up to you, as long as you draw it in the style and ability level of a young child. This picture must be hand drawn, which means you should draw it on paper and then scan it or take a digital photo of it. You can also use various types of drawing tools, such as crayons, colored pencils, etc. The bottom line is: it must be drawn physically and submitted to us digitally.

Judges: 15 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 60

Item #7: Puzzling

Presented before you is a 12 piece puzzle. Each piece of this puzzle comes from a famous or not so famous PSC entry. Your task is to find all 12 entries from which these pieces came. Also, to make the burden a bit easier, these entries were chosen from 12 users out of the following list of 30:

Alex
Anfa
Arcaico
billtvshow
bluefist
buglover
Claf
Cynn
Deshone
dewking
fempie
Goat1981
hellraiser
j-elzic
karell
kurakima
ledirlo
metalic
Nancers
Patre
pitbullz
sage
Serps
Showcase
supak0ma
Synthvet
the202
velocity
vunt van pumununt
YerPalAl

When you have found as many as you can or all of them, you should send us a list of links to each entry that you have found.

Judges: Preset Scoring

4 points per entry found
12 bonus points for finding all of them
+10 points for the first team to find and submit all 12 correctly

Grand Total Possible Points: 70

Item #8: International Advertising

Each of the judges from the Scavenger Hunt are from a different country. Alex = Canada, anfa = UK, arcaico = Brazil, billtvshow = USA
During the last hunt, we created a team ad that featured four policemen / officers from each of these countries. Please refer to this picture for reference:

Your task is to create an ad like this. However, instead of using policemen for the ad, you will need to come up with a creative theme for your own ad, such as hot chicks or food for these each of these four countries. The funnier and more creative the better.

Judges: 20 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Item #9: Superheroes!

This one is pretty straightforward. You should photoshop each of the members of your team into superheroes on the cover of a comic book. Get creative, make cool outfits, develop cool names and catchy themes, etc. Humor, as always, is a plus.

Judges: 20 Points max (each)

Grand Total Points Possible: 80 Points

Item #10: Undesirable Food Theme Contest

Your objective is to create undesirable food products. You must submit two food items, which may be packaged foods (like the one shown above) or even organic, unprocessed food items, such as a badger growing out of a banana peel. Wink

Judges: 20 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Item #11: Silly Story Part 2

We decided to resurrect this popular task from the last scavenger hunt.
This time you will have an all new list of words and phrases to choose from and you must write a silly story that incorporates all of these, though it should have some discernable plot/direction. Humor is very important and you may want to check out some of the stories from the last hunt for positive presentation styles as well. Your story must include the following words and phrases at least once each:

tortoise
pygmie
lower torso
boarding house
panda bear
belly ache
huge jugs
calendar
pacifier
nipple tweaking
car alarm
Buddhist
chandelier
nympho
sausage
elongated
palindrome
anvil
cauliflower
nipple piercings
Donkey Kong
Baby Deif
The Holy Grail
Did you hit that yet?
Piss in a bucket
Attack of the clones
Have a great summer
Pick it up with your armpit
fat rolls
apple orchard
A little fruity
motion blur
Did you get the toilet paper?
Say that again
polished off another one
Get the lead out
Polish mafia
Parrot droppings
carpet samples
Have you ever touched one of those?
Get off of that statue!
I'm going to climb the Empire State Building
puke in a bucket
tandem bicycle
colorful surroundings
cock of the walk

In addition, one paragraph of the story (minimum 35 words) must be written using only words that start in e, s, g, or q.

Judges: 20 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Item #12: PSC Playing Cards

You must create 5 playing cards that use PSC as a theme. The cards that you must create are the ace, king, queen, jack, and a joker. They can be of whatever suit that you desire. You can use PSC members' faces, PSC entries, etc to make the playing cards PSC-related. The better they look and the consistency of their design are important.

Judges: 20 points max (each)

Grand Total Possible Points: 80

Additional instructions:

* Points listed represent maximum points per item. You will be scored against the other teams and the best entry for each item might receive the max points while the worst will receive substantially less. Not submiting an item will result in 0 points for that item.
* Creativity, humor, and presentation is always appreciated and encouraged. Example: A funny story is great, but an illustrated funny story is even better.
* Please submit all items as attachments to billtvshow at pscshiv@gmail.com
The subject of your email should be formatted as follows: Team Name – Item #
In the body of the email please include your team name, members, Item # and Item description along with any attachements or text.
* Please prefix any files (jpg, text, etc) with your team name at the start of the filename. (i.e. 2mgd_sillystory.jpg or photo_undesirbalefood1.jpg)
