serious advice: do not use filters... except for the original ps filters, they're mostly crap and you can do anything without them...

I double what arcaico said. Use the tools that they give you in Photoshop. Filters are a quick way to do something that you could have done in photoshop only they don't come out as well. I use to have all the filters because I thought they did cool things but I never used them in proffesional work because they never did a realistic or proffesional job. Anything you can do with a filter, you can do with Photoshop better. Filters are there to sell to people that have not figured out how to do things in Photoshop. if you want fire, Don't look for a fire filter, Learn how to do it in photoshop. Also, filters like "Flood" are cool but I see the images and I say "they used the Flood filter" It is so obvoius. When I can look at your image and not know how you did it, then you have skills and something unique and something to be proud of.
Good Luck Wink

There's only 1 filter that I use...and I only use it as a quick way to modify portraits I take...It's called Virtual Photographer...I used to do Eye Candy/Xenofex, but I kinda got bored with them...
