I learned 2 things by doing this
1- I think I would have gotten a hell of a lot more votes had I posted these entires on the first day instead of the last and if I had known about image size then too (both came out about the size of a postage stamp)
and more importantly
2- I don't think I've made any progress at all since then with my images

sage Great blend...my only advice is to watch the consistency of the shadows. Your main light source comes from top right (according to your background). The boy's shadow in the foreground contradicts this. welcome to PSC....
