Not my cup of tea. I do not like it at all..
But, I CAN see that there are some very cool elements to the image,
that could be applied to another attempt and have startling results.
I'd look for what you did that is attractive and DIFFERENt in this image
and keep those elements in mind on the next try-
this is definately the beginnings of a uniquely individual style-
 run with it-
it's the people that run with it that make a name for themselves,

QoNS--Talk with Queen La Tiff. She's making break-throughs in vector style imaging and might be able to help out.

Good advice, Scion.

I think I'd alter the angle of the gradient in the face so that the highlites fall to the cheeks and give a sense of 3D to the head. Right now the gradient is running the same as the neck/torso.

I kind of feel like the gradients on the face and neck take away from what youve done. Its just a lot of different stuff going on.

Sorry it took me so long to see the comments. I didn't get notified too. Extremely thankful for the comments. Now I'll go thru all the comments thoroughly and get back.Very much thankful, friends.
I have no formal education in art. Also I came to know of Photoshop, only in 2002., for which I had some guidance to use the software. I do doodle some, pencils and water color, Indian ink etc,.but for colors and proportion I just use my commonsense. I have never used a canvas....only paper....until I got Photoshop.Hence I value your comments very much.

I love all kinds of art forms.

hey Lalitha, I really like the all the elements of the image, except like Tofu and DTB say, the face and neck do take alot away from the actual work done to the rest of the image, the eyes/mouth/hair etc are really great and a super style is felt from them, overall I like it, good interesting idea
