all though i wasn't around psc durring drwu's time i recall reading about him and some of the impacts he had on this place... so i say yes its a great idea and you can count me in

Marco its a great idea, would be nice to let some of the long term members know about this, and as has been said before by many people make it a perminant on the calendar, for all fallen PSC family member.

anyway of finding out who voted no? we gotta erase this kinda stuff, that are bringing the site down!!!!

Man just re-reading that has made me tear up, I did see this from JMH and wonder if we make it this date? It has a special meaning all ready and would be nice to start a tradition here at PSC.

Now that is what i love about this place... We may bitch and moan and disagree about everthing under the Sun, but this place has real heart. Nice to see everyone joining together so fast for such a worthy cause. I vote YEA.

I opened a poll, and it had to have 2 choices, as we needed to know if this idea was going to fly, and it is a democracy here anyways.

We always have a laugh, and thats great, people thinking it is funny to hit random poll options. I would (like a few have said here). Like to know who hit no, and the reason why.... not to ban, or kill or slap them silly, I am just genuinely interested in the reason to why it would not be a good idea. Maybe there is something we have overlooked to why it would not work.....

"Doc" was a rare kind of member who had the rare ability to get along with everybody else, and at the same time be an 'active' participant in all things PSC. Dr. Wu was even among the select few who managed to create images that were so uniquely original, skilled, and engaging that they permanently raised the level of the game around here, and are still looked to by all to for creative inspiration.
Mr. West passed away on August 30, 2006, and in respect for his abiding impact upon this site, and it's people, we, the users will be holding August 30, 2008's PSC Contest as an opportunity to remember Dr.Wu, and others who have passed our way as a memorial contest.
It would be nice to see this posted in the site's news, and
on the site home page, and e-mail notification to go out to all past, and present users. We are going to make the Aug. 30 source available to all users.
