GravyBoat's tip to fun Photoshopping.

a: Ctl T on the unlocked image.
b: Grab the little curvy arrow in any corner.
c: Spin the image faster and faster CCW.
d: Spin the image faster and faster CW.
e: Chuckle a bit.
f: X out. Do not save.
g: Do not enter comp.
h: Repeat.
Very Happy

I got a lot of good advice about 3 years ago when I had the same experience (back when I used to chop regularly and not simply annoy people in the forums).

http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=3678

One of the things I found was to read fiction. I have good results with Doug Adams, Terry Pratchett, Robert Aspirin, Piers Anthony, etc. I think it works because fiction engages the imagination and forces you to create and fill in the scenes you're reading about.

Cool

Ummm, Al would like to point out for absolute correctness that HE does not talk about his sex life, OTHERS talk about his sex life.

Its so hard being an icon of other's envy around this place. Rolling Eyes

Okay - for a Moment of SERIOUSNESS here (yes, this is really ME and not my OTHER self typing)...

Glennhanna did make a good point. The ADD ONE THING threads are a good place to just try out silly stuff that might lead to an idea that you can then use in one of our BIG CONTESTS.

Currently there is an opening for CLEANING THE FLOORS - so feel free to give that a try. Remember ADD ONLY ONE THING!!! (the Europeans seem to think that means TWO Things, but then I don't speak Europese so I can't be sure! Shocked Laughing)

Oh - and if you are too lazy to try that, you can always stick parts of your body into a tub of cold Jello and I promise you something will arise for your creative pleasure. (though I'm not sure if your elbow will like it much!)
