OK, I was a little hesitant to post about this, but yesterday was my last day of work, after 18 years, at Duke University. I was caught up in a payroll reduction initiative and, along with a total of 1,100 other employees, received an "early retirement offer" so yesterday was my official last day complete with party and engraved gold watch.

And last night we got this in North Carolina.

Coincidence?

All in all it was a decent buyout and I am fine with it, just looking forward to a completely new phase of my life.

Sign of the times, but hey it's an opportunity for something else.

Having observed some of your work I going to take the liberty of offering a suggestion. YerPalAl's children's book that you certainly can illustrate and from what I read in the forum from you will not be short on ideas.

You could be PSC's version of Grandma Moses Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing (I had to put that in)

Cheers and success!!!
