Ok, long story. we have had a rather horrible house guest for the past two weeks. He is an old family friend who moved out here from California. He is the worst possible house guest you could ever possibly imagine. He stinks, he smokes, he eats all the food, and leaves the mess for everyone else to clean up. I never knew one person could make a house smell so bad. He sits around all day, being lazy, instead of looking for a job so that he can move out. He argues with everyone about the stupidest, most irrelevant things. For example, when I ask him about some work I am doing in photoshop, about a specific part I am working on, he starts going on about how the lighting isn't right in th original source picture. I'm not asking about the damn lighting in the orginal source picture!
He even puts the toilet paper on backwards, after using it all.

Anyways, He has his own pc, I went as far as to set the whole effing thing up for him, connected it to the internet, the whole deal. But he still, for some unknown reason I doubt even God can tell, insists on using our computer. The problem is, he has the stupidest habits, like changing all the settings after I tell him repeatedly not to. He keeps emptying the history cache, and the favorites. He "cleans" up our files, which is really pissing me off. Finally, he managed to delete ALL OF MY FILES ON THE PC! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGH!!! FOOOOOOOOL! Anyways, luckily, I had backed up most of my new stuff 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, everything between then and now is gone. Which is why I wasn't able to enter the third contest, even though I had finished the freaking thing. So, that, combined with all the other crap going on at the moment has really made it hard for me to chop, much less even get on the effing computer. So, just so you know... Rolling Eyes

Options:

- Password protect your PC?
- Move your PC to your room?
- Complain to your folks about the "cuddling"
- Add industrial strength laxatives to his food
- Sign him up for the foreign legion / peace corp / as a Mail-order groom
- Out-stink him and when the parents complain tell them you're just emulating your new hero!

I think the "cuddling" would do it for me concerning MY kids!
Why not "clean up" important files of your dad's & say...Oh... our "GUEST" must have helped out once again!
Or use the homework excuse. You need the computer to do research on your homework.
BTW....
He's emptying the cache & history so you can't see the porn sites he going to.

Lol yeah, I know. but I just really had the urge to write an essay about it. Plus, it explains to DoaC why I am the worst team member ever. I mean, I missed THREE contests! Doh!

Sometimes we just need to vent. But mason, you're in Texas, right? Seems to me you could either A) accuse him of not being American enough or 2) Send him hunting with the Veep. Failing that, you can send him my way with Satan and I'll see if I can Anthrax up his day for you.

Actually, that anthrax thing isn't very funny. But I'm too lazy to take it back.

Argh! Life is just out to get me...I have been working on a chop all day. I am nearly finished, but every time I get to this one part, just as I am about done with it, something happens. the first time, my sister got on while I was in the restroom, and closed it without saving. The second time I got to the same part, just as I was about finished, Photoshop crashed! And this part is one of the more difficult parts of my chop. &*^*&#*(%*&@%(@%@*(&%@!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mad Yuck

Trust me when I say that if I gave you details of my life over the past few weeks, you'd feel a lot better.
