if anything that shadow is correct... that was the original pictures shadow... tried to have the mask emulate what was already there....

I think if anything the cat mask shadow cast on the face should be darker, but I tried to bend it like it was curving around the face...

My input came with a vote, your shadows are usually flawless, so I reluctantly mentioned it. It's like telling Spock he made an error. It just doesn't happen too often. Nor did I feel comfortable in pointing it out.
