hmm although its got my vote there is a fundimentL flaw in the shadow.. not just the floor but the shadow is indicating the light is coming from the front where as the inside indicates from the back... also looks isometric... but its not

the top edge almost ruins it for me, but all of the other work that went into this is fantastic... The top edge makes it seem unfinished...keeps it from popping off the page!

this isn't a simple wrap and warp by the way, the grout was separated and then cut up and re-designed into the wire frame tubing. The vase main body is a blend of the stone effect and then hand coloured in sections like Troika is. If anyone was eondering

if that line in the middle was not not there, the vase would be much better. The line as it is makes it look flat. Good effort though.

the highlighted line down the middle Crowned as you mention, is there becasue the vase is a slightly rounded square piece, to fit with the many Troika designs, it is the leading edge of 2 intersecting sides :oD

Scrumpy: look back in history and you will learn that any work of art has been the target of many critiques. What Marco did seems to me not perfect. I expressed my point of view and he defended his entry, fair enough. It is not a matter of ballz.
