hehe..cheers Glenn..I just set the opacity of the layer to about 70% then ramped up the contrast to compensate for the loss in vibrance...motion done in CS3's animation thingy (that used to be ImageReady) using persective controls to tweak.

The motion is so smooth, and it's got a wobble to it that really makes it feel like it is swinging on a string. Very cool! It would be interesting to somehow add an animated highlight that would sweep across the surface at varying degrees. Cool Avatar?
