Thanks Shaman and Miss SS. The window does not have a glow because there is a blind down and therefore the light would not diffuse the same (methinks)?!?

Your absolutely right - I just wasn't sure if it was a blind or a light glowing around the room. Maybe if the blind was a little lower down in the window it might help to make it look more as you intended? Love the blues in this image, good update :) x

better. could go even brighter though. but I love the blueness of the night, don't change that. but maybe look at some night scenes with porch lights to get a feel for what I'm talking about.
