the intention is there is lightning behind him too, so several shadows could be cast like flood lights pointing in different directions. I was between 2 minds wether to include the lightning in the scene for this reason. But felt it added to the mood.

what I mean is shadows when lit disappear... just get a friggin flashlight and try to light yer shadow... the light coming from the house should fade the head shadow...

it does, I see what you mean though, it would have been barely visable, issue here however is it would have negated the entire theme.
