Well I have an ez one. I made this logo and when my customer decided they wanted to put it in a background I got this

The areas circled in red I need the background to show through but when I take out the color of the white the black shows through instead of the yellow. I believe this is a clipping mask issue which I tried playing with but evidently unsuccessfully.
Tanks in advance!

ReyRey here.
Bring your art work of the band into Illustartor. Lock all the other layers. Select all. Hit this button.

Then delete the white areas.

hi

i've got this project for school 'it's supposed to be something provocative, and i want to make a toungue with hairs on it...
something a bit like claf's green seat chops...

i don't really know where to begin...
is it better to take a photo of hairs or create them in ps?

thanks.

Hey,
It's ReyRey
You can use the pen tool method on page 1
http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=9322
or

I took this image:

and used the pen tool method. Mixing up the colors and sharpening. You can keep adding to make it really hairy.

This one I cut hair off of a pic of a cat. Cut it to the shape of the tongue. Desaturated it and set it to soft light. Then I added a couple hairs hanging off the edges with the pen tool method.

For this one I cut some dudes beard off and laid it over the tongue. Dodge and burn for shape and add a mask to fade it as it goes back into the mouth.

Good luck.

thanks reyrey, i think the first one looks like what i had in mind.

can you post a pic of what the paths look like? or maybe just one path, so i know what the basic shape looks like.....

thanks Very Happy

edit: ok i tried setting the brush like you said but it doesn't look like what you got in your pic, it doesn't fade in the edges Confused i tries setting it to fade instead of pen pressure but then it only fades on one side....

another edit:

i donno.... i don't think it looks realistic....
