the sun is to the left but maybe more above and "behind the observer",since it's hitting the mushrooms in the patch more face on.that should put the shadows actually back towards the house slightly rather than towards "us" or the observer.¿No?

Thanks,you're probably right Sean,maybe more horizontal and shorter so it's more under the shroom cap...only the shadow knows,I might give it another shot. :)
