I like the idea. The astronaut should be casting a hard shadow like the shadows of the rocks on the ground. The space ship needs a shadow under it too. Statue should cast a similar shadow.

Yeah, I agree, the shadows should be hard, but they just didn't look right. Softer shadows, in the end, "looked" more right even though they weren't technically correct. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. lol
