Hourglass is external. Was blended on multiple layers. The glass I had to separate from the hourglass and put it on its own layer with a different blend mode from the original hourglass.

The middle pyramid shadow does go down to the bottom of the chop, but its washed out from the external lighting and ground elements. Overall this was an experiment in shadows and transparencies.
