Getting much better wendy! Lower the opacity on the bear in the background and dodge/burn the top of the water and you'll add some good depth/realism. Great changes so far!

ow, comment's lost so i put it here: other sources used: a polar bear in the water , the cage is made from the source.

okay... so i fixed the dark gate, i tried to make a water surface, i made it more alive by putting humans in, added a different polar bear, made some shadow on the bottom of the bassin, and took away the strange reflection. Hope it had improved!

oh, and a picture used of the kids looking at monkeys (took the monkey's out) the kids were all there, but had to cut them out of the other zoo.

I think another thing that would help is to have some wave action at the top of the water. That much motion from the bears would definitely move the top of the water too.
