Two very solid entries once again. The other has a more obvious direction, but the integrated sources don't quite match the quality of the manipulated original. This one has several levels of detail that pull you in and make you dig for the story, which can be good and bad depending on the voter. The cracked edge work on the outer statue is a bit sketchy, where the overlapping layers are just laid across the edges rather than bent to fit. Would have benefited from just a solid color edge rather than that. Nonetheless, the entry maintains its quality a bit better, so I lean this way.

Oh! Hard choice! This one is definitively more work and probably better execution... hard to know about the execution of the other image without seeing the externals. Here the theme is way more interesting, but aesthetically I prefer the other one. So I said hard choice! It will be a very tight match... I think. I'll vote for this one... for the hard work. Congrats to both! :-)
